Warranty

  • For all products CYP Wheels grants a legal warranty of 24 months from the date of purchase.
  • The warranty covers all products with hidden and manufacturing defects which will be replaced or repaired free of charge. Second-hand wheels are also guaranteed if purchased by the first purchaser within the guarantee period. The guarantee will only continue to be valid until the second purchaser for 24 months from the date of purchase by the first purchaser from CYP Wheels.
  • An invoice or receipt is required for all warranty claims.

Warranty does not cover the following cases

  • Damage caused by falls, accidents, blows or overpressure. Damage caused by inappropriate tools (e.g. tyre removal tool).

  • Normal wear and tear and parts subject to normal wear and tear (bearings, vanes and ratchets, valves, brake pads, etc.).

  • Products or components that have been modified or used in combination with others that are not compatible.

  • Consumable materials

The guaranteee
is valid if

  • The product has been used correctly and not other than as intended.

  • The maximum permitted weight of the system has not been exceeded

  • The assembly and maintenance instructions have been complied with (the product must be correctly assembled and repaired).

If the warranty is invoked and the product, its components or other parts are replaced these become the property of CYP Wheels.

CYP Wheels is not liable for further damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages and subsequent damages, but your statutory rights remain unaffected.

How to proceed if your wheel is damaged?

Return to your dealer or contact CYP Wheels by accessing the "After-Sales Service" section

The product must then be sent to CYP Wheels to be checked and verified

The wheel must be shipped only after removing: Tyres, sprocket set and brake discs

CYP Wheels shall only bear the costs of returning the product to the customer if the case is accepted under warranty (otherwise they are the customer's responsibility)

The customer shall bear the cost of shipping the product to our premises and any customs charges.

The rim of a wheel cannot be considered defective if you fail to pressurize it. It often depends on the type of tires used. Some  types of tires are better than others.

CYP Wheels is a dealer that uses various brands of components. You should consult the manufacturer's website for warranty conditions.

Only the manufacturer or distributor of the component is responsible for warranty decisions. We are not responsible for the final decisions of warranty.

How to proceed if the wheel is damaged due to an accident

The replacement program due to accident/accidental impact is valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.

This opportunity can be taken advantage of if a purchased wheel is broken and can no longer be used due to an accident (Impact) or due to a fall caused by you.

CYP Wheels offers a 40% discount on the official retail price(MRSP) for repair and replacement of the wheel(s) (component and work).

To take advantage of this CYP Wheels service and repair your wheel, register it immediately after purchase by sending us the following information:

1) Copy invoice
2) Name/Surname, address and email address, date of purchase(if not clear on invoice)
3) Product name
4) Serial number (found in the rim channel)
5) Where the wheel was purchased, including the name of the country.
